Grounding System

KNFD maintenance free long-term ion grounding system consists of sustained-releasegrounding electrodes 

(containing reversible release agent), initiator and synergistic electrolytic ion extenders. The electrodes 

surface is a copper alloy, to ensure the highest Conductive performance and long service life, and with both 

inside and outside the two major types of extenders. Extenders for non-toxic compounds and no pollution

to the environment. Proved by the experiment, the direct cause of high soil resistivity is because the lack of 

freedom of the auxiliary conductive effect ion. Grounding conductor outside's extenders have strong water 

absorption, strong adsorption capacity and cation exchange properties of high material as the main body, 

coupled with long-term, reducing resistance, anti-corrosion function,expansion of various chemical material 

coefficient is not affected by temperature change, high voltage impulse for accessories. The grounding 

conductor mainly solves the problems of temperature and ion generating around with anti-corrosion 

protection, the conductor is closely integrated with the ground, thereby reducing the contact resistance of 

the electrode and the soil,improve the resistivity of the surrounding soil, effectively enhance the ability to 

release lightning conduction.The grounding conductor internal filling material containing an ionic compound 

special, can fully absorb the moisture in the air. Through the deliquesce  effect, active electric ion released in

to the soil,and soil and water in the air, more to promote sustained release conductor resistance reduction, 

long-term stability and protection value.We use the conductive properties of colloid compounds, so that

the whole system can be long-term in ion exchange state,  thus constituting a grounding system electrolytic 

ion ideal.The construction is simple,when the outdoor does not have the construction conditions,at the 

bottom of the building's interior can be installed,singlestage covers an area of only 0.1 square meters,

1.Sustained Release(Ion)Grounding Electrodes Operational Principle

The content of active ions in soils is one of the influencing factors of grounding resistance, compounds

containing active electrolytic ion bulk soils more scarce and the ordinary grounding body will not reach the

grounding requirements.By comparison of experiments, add the inverse in sustained-release fillers in grounding.

And this filler can absorb water, discharge water and reversible characteristic. Also this reversible characteristic,

guarantee the effective temperature shell environment effectively and ensure the grounding resistance stability.

This filler have No toxic and side effect , the metal electrodes in long-term cooperation function and in the ion

generation and two corrosion has good effect on preventing copper alloy. In this way the filler produced the ions

absorbing earth water and through the deliquescent effect, let the activity of electrolytic ion released into the

surrounding soil effectively and the ground electrode becomes an ion generating device, so that it can improve

the surrounding soil to meet the requirements for grounding.

2.Evocation Agent and Synergistic Electrolytic Ion Extenders Operational Principle

The chemical treatment of shell soils interaction by evocating agent and synergistic electrolytic ion extenders,

Sustained Release Grounding Electrodes Description Of Construction

1.Selected in the construction site outside the borehole drilled φ155mm×3155mm hole and Perpendicular to the

   ground.

2.In the volume greater than 150L to collocate agent,add 50kg water and evocating agent,stir it until completely

  dissolved,then add synergistic ion filler and stir it until pasty.

3.Implant earth electrode and take apart earth electrode two ends of the sealing tape,let 1:4 configured filler fill

   the bottom of hole and let earth electrode implant the hole,top of the earth electrode is parallel with the ground

   plane.Ground outlet, the other filler filling in the periphery of the grounding electrode to ground electrode tip

   100mm, cover the helmets, measurement of grounding resistance, soil filling protective cap around the top,

   above ground 100mm.

5.Matters needing attention:Drilling should not be greater than 155mm, so as toavoid the lack of filler;cover the

  protectivecap when the attention of vent on the rodshall be dirt or feller plug,cap vent in theback fill above,do

  not block.When a set of grounding is not up to the grounding resistance requirements,available two set or

  several sets of parallel, spaced between rods and rod should not be less than 5m.Pinout should adopt 95mm2

  multi strand copper wire, lead wire and the grounding electrode is connected with exothermic welding.

6.Use install whole KNFD electrode connected with bare copper,forming the main ring and the connection point

  and use heat release welding.For other KNFD electrode installation repeat the first to the fifth step, the KNFD

  according to the above steps after the installation is complete, and can be put into use.

Notice:Lightning needle downlead must be directly connected to the KNFD grounding system connected with the

landlord ring,the other equipment's grounding is connected to the host bus.
